Data processing for advertising purposes/newsletter
We use your data only for our own advertising purposes. We would like to keep you informed about new products, our services and interesting events. Therefore, we also use your data to recommend certain products, services or events that may interest you, over and above your purchases. The evaluation of the purchase history and the sending of corresponding advertising by post or email to existing customers is carried out in compliance with your legitimate interests only for products and services of BGS technic KG. On our website, you have the option to subscribe to a free newsletter. When you register for the newsletter, we collect the data from the respective input mask (email address, name, customer number, date and time of registration). During the registration process, your consent to the processing of the data is obtained and reference is made to this data protection notice. If you are our customer and disclose your e-mail address to us, we may subsequently use it to send you a newsletter and to contact you by e-mail. In such a case, we will only send you direct advertising for our own goods or, for example, future events, promotions and competitions.
Subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled by any user concerned at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding ‘unsubscribe’ link in every newsletter email. This also allows you to revoke your consent to the storage of personal data collected during the registration process: by email: [email protected] or by phone: 02196 / 720480. The user's email address is therefore stored for as long as the newsletter subscription is active. After that, it is blocked. The sole purpose of storing the blocked data is to ensure that no further newsletters are sent.
Further information about your rights can be found under the heading ‘Rights of data subjects’.

Insofar as a retention period under tax law exists for certain data that is processed for the execution of purchase contracts (document data), the storage period is 6 or 10 years.
